Key words: learning disabilities, post-traumatic defences, processes reactivation
This study tests mental functioning of adopted adolescents, in particular in case of interruption of the learning process. In fact, high post-traumatic defences prevent the activation of basic processes that are needed to a teenager to be able to learn something new; these defences sabotage even psychological work. The described psychological treatment shows as the approach of learning workshop could lead blocked mental processes to reactivation; this method is based on the creation of links between the past, the present and the future of adopted adolescents.
