La psicopatologia di Pierre Janet

This paper presents the basic concepts of Pierre Janet’s psychopathological hypotheses, by placing them within the framework of the “psychology of conduct”. The importance of such hypotheses for the understanding and treatment of mental disorders, essentially of dissociative type, shown by patients that have undergone a severe traumatic experience or that have developed a chronic post-traumatic disorder.
