Phenomenological notes on integrative psychotherapy. Research in psychotherapy brought to Dodo’s verdict which declared the therapeutic equivalency of the schools, and so gave birth to integrative psychotherapy. Anyway, empirical research struggles to identify common factors that will explain how and why all kind of psychotherapies succeed. In this work, it will be stated that this struggle is due to a methodological inappropriateness of empirical research in studying psychotherapy, and phenomenology will be submitted as possible alternative.
